The new addition to my lounge

I've finally found a couch I like and I can afford! I usually go for more vintage style's but it's really hard to find vintage couches that are in good condition and reasonably priced! So when I came across this little retro beauty I couldn't help myself. Plus it folds out into a bed (which isn't common for this types of couches) so I'm very happy! I got it from a second hand furniture shop for $275 (New Zealand)

 

I made new covers for the cushions because they were a mustard yellow, I have kept the old covers just because they are original. I can handle the couch being retro but I can't handle mustard yellow!

So we have a lovely, comfortable retro couch, a spare bed for any guests and it looks very good in our lounge. I think we'll be very happy together!
