Hanging ballet shoes

These are some gorgeous little china ballet shoes I picked up from a second hand shop for 50cents, I had them sitting on a shelf then decided they would be gorgous hanging up. So I attached a piece of lace and here they are...

The vintage lace was in a bulk bag a brought from a garage sale, so the whole thing cost about $1 (new Zealand) to make! Another bargain!
Now I've decided I really have to start making some Christmas presents, so that's my next mission!

Dress Me up in Vintage Lace & Chiffon

I'm going to a friends wedding next weekend so I made this dress to wear, I made the pattern up myself by measuring my bust, waist etc. The lace is very old, I got it from a garage sale in a bulk lot for $2 and the chiffon was given to me, so all up it cost about 50cents (NZ)to make!

I"m so happy with end result, it fits really well and flows beautifully! So I'll wear it with a little vintage cardigan, black stockings and some brown vintage inspired shoes, can't wait!!
