I brought these beautiful vintage bed frames years ago (even before I was pregnant) from a second hand furniture shop, I must have known I would have two girls! We set them up in the weekend, brought some wooden slats and borrowed some mattresses until our nice new ones arrive. They look even better than what I imagined, love them!

felt creations
These gorgeous little felt creations are handmade in Zealand, the maker is 'Soft Earth Art', you can buy her beautiful pieces on felt and you can also find her on facebook
My hobby last winter was learning to knit, this year I would love to learn needle felting!
My friend Emma gave Isla the felt acorns, doll and angel for her birthday, they are so beautiful but I was worried they might get lost or damaged by little fingers! I've put the acorns and doll onto a mobile and it's hanging high in Isla's room along with the magical angel...

blank canvas
This is our progress over the last 18 months, we started one peach and one very small mandarin tree, there were no gardens and the fences were absolutely bare. The first thing Neal did was put in stepping stone to the clothes-line, then we made gardens and planted climbing jasmine and climbing roses on the fences. So I am loving our progress so far, it's getting to how I want it, just need some more flower gardens!

play kitchen
This gorgeous creation is what Neal made the girls for Christmas! He used an old desk as the base ($10 from a church sale), brass tapes ($5 from a junk shop), stainless bowl from my mum, paint $30, knobs from our old draws, oven handle $8, I made the curtain and the material element (material $2). So the whole thing cost about $55 (and a whole lot of time!) The girls are having so much fun with it, so cute watching them using there imaginations (shaking an old pot on the element "we're making pop-corn mummy!"
