the play house
Here's the play house my dad built for the girls, they absolutely love, love, love it!! He did such a great job! It's totally rain proof and even has safety glass in the windows! The bunting flags outside I made from thick plastic bags, so hopefully they will stand up to weather. The leaves are fake but I'm planning to plant climbers at the bottom of each post. I made a little garden at the side, can't wait for it to grow. The girls are going to have so much fun in there little house, I think I love it just as much as they do!

framed material
I'm just about finished decorating the inside of the playhouse for the girls Christmas present. These are the last of the goodies to put inside, I used vintage frames, took the glass out (so there safe for the kids) and stuck in vintage material. I think they look rather cute!

cute little bird cut outs
I love anything to do with birds...art, crafts, photo's. So when I saw these gorgeous cut outs on this blog here I printed them out (straight way) and made ornaments. Then these inspired me to make the Christmas bird mobile. My dad is building the girls a playhouse for Christmas, so these will look great inside!

Little fairy top
I love making cute girly things like this, I got the idea from a 'cotton on' top my friends daughter was wearing. I made this for the baby fair and was surprised it didn't sell because Isla loves hers!

Christmas
I'm well and truly in the Christmas mood! I have been making decorations out of paper doily's this morning and making our house look Christmasy. I know it's a day early but I can't help myself! Our house was already feeling a lot like x-mas because my husband and Isla put our tree up weeks ago! The first photo is from last year with our lovely real tree..
This years tree, very seventies, one of my op-shop finds!

More baby clothing
A few more things I am selling at the baby fair next weekend, some of the tops are pre-loved and some new, I have sewn on elephants, boats, flowers, whales and birds. I made three of the grey singlets from scratch. I've also made some merino singlets and pixie hats, not sure why when it's summer! So added with the dresses I've already made I'll have about thirty items, I hope I sell some of it!

These are two more of the little dresses I've made using the vintage pattern. The green is for a present and the cream is for Isla. The girls wore them to a party today, they looked very cute!
